Yuriy Vedernikov

Yuriy Vedernikov was born in 1944 in Sverdlovsk. In 1968 he graduated Sverdlovsk Art College, and then studied at Ural State University after Alexey Gorky. From 1969 to 1972 he attended seminars at the Central Educational and Experimental Studio of Art Design of the Artists’ Union in the USSR under Moscow State Art and Industrial Academy after S. Stroganov. Vedernikov also specialized as an external student at the Art Glass and Ceramics Department under the direction of V. Statuck. He has been a member of Artists’ Union of Russia since 2008. He is a participant of international, republic and regional exhibitions. His works are in the galleries, private collection in Russia, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, the USA, Estonia, Belarus, Australia. Yuriy Vedernikov is a painter (monumental and decorative painting, easel-portraits, landscapes), a graphic artist and an architect.
